Spend a night in a Hole in the Ground in the middle of the Waikato. It comes with a nice breakfast with homemade bread and bacon and eggs (own chickens) and homemade jams. There's an outdoor area made totally of pallet wood where you have the opportunity to cook, have a BBQ and have a dining area.
Only suited for one or 2 persons (pets only at prior approval, service animals are ok).
We (since 1984) are Rivendel Gardens, growing tomatoes, capsicum, beans, courgettes etc. for the local farmers' markets.
I started with with the accommodation about 12 years ago as a playground for my grandchildren.
If you need help, just come to the main house and I'm happy to help with whatever you need.
We are in a very rural environment, very quiet. 7 Km out of Cambridge.
